THREE PROFESSIONAL FRIENDS

lawyer lawyer lawyer Meet Arthur, Betty and Charles, each of whom has two occupations from among the following: doctor, engineer, teacher, painter, writer and lawyer. No two have the same occupation. Who does what?

  1. The teacher and the writer went fishing with Arthur.
  2. The doctor had lunch with the teacher.
  3. The painter is related to the engineer.
  4. The doctor hired the painter to paint his house.
  5. Betty lives in the house next door to the writer.
  6. Charles beat Betty and the painter at tennis.
