For an additional cost, you may arrange to have a Smart Science® server installed within your network to ensure high speed access and avoid the clogs and delays frequently associated with using the Internet whether caused by your local network or Internet routing.

Smart Science® instructional units run in most Java and JavaScript enabled browsers. Popup blockers must be disabled or configured to allow windows to be opened by pages from the Smart Science® server.

The Java version must be 1.5 or later. For best performance, we recommend Java version 1.6 or later. The latest version of Java may be downloaded free of charge from java.com.
